Response Time was a tough-as-hickory sound campaigner who won or placed in four stakes, earning just shy of $500,000 in purses in her 33 starts (winning on dirt and turf). We are syndicating Response Time into 10 shares at $4,000 each. There is NO MARKUP from her auction price. The RESPONSE TIME LLC will officially begin on January 1, 2025. Monthly board expenses for a 10% interest in the RESPONSE TIME LLC will run between $300-$400 (Insurance, veterinary fees, vanning, etc., are billed as incurred and are included in that monthly estimate). She was purchased for $115,000 at the Keeneland November sale in 2024 pregnant with her first foal to Champion Forte. Forte was a popular first-crop covering stallion at this sale with mares in foal to him averaging $162,875.
In foal on an early February 26th cover, she was sent directly to Virginia from the Keeneland Sale so she’ll foal there in January of 2025 and we can make her foal eligible for the lucrative Virginia-bred bonuses (34% breeder bonus for 1st-3rd finishes across the U.S.). We’re taking a different approach with this partnership, featuring a fast, young broodmare prospect named Truancy who is out of the stakes winning Successful Appeal mare Successfully Sweet. Truancy is a 1/2-sister to two stakes horses, including a G3 winner. She ran single digit speed numbers herself at major tracks like Saratoga, Belmont and Aqueduct.
She’ll be bred to Cyberknife early in 2024 to produce a commercial foal to sell as a weanling or yearling. An earner of over $135,000 who broke her maiden at Saratoga, she’s a pretty and correct filly who should throw fast foals like herself.

Stakes winning mare KENDA was purchased for $70,000 at Keeneland November ’23 in foal to Speightstown’s speedy freshman son OLYMPIAD. She won a stakes at Santa Anita and her first foal by Gun Runner has run single digit speed figures in his races and could be stakes-quality himself. This speed-on-speed mating with Olympiad should produce a fast foal in 2024.

This 9-year-old Speightstown mare named IN IT FOR THE GOLD is in foal to 2020 Kentucky Derby winner AUTHENTIC. Purchased for $75,000 at Keeneland November, 10% shares are $7,500. She won a Maiden Special Weight in New York and ran an “8” on the dirt and a “9” on the turf. Her 2023 colt by Maxfield sold for $240,000 one hip before we bought his dam.

Shares are $5,500 for a 10% interest, with expenses estimated to be around $200/month until he starts training.

We purchased War Value, a 7-year-old mare by War Front, in foal to G1 Florida Derby winner Known Agenda (by Curlin), for $35,000 at the Keeneland November Sale. She’s out of the stakes-placed A.P. Indy mare Value Stream, who is a 1/2-sister to G3 winner and sire Buffum, stakes-winner Stormy West and full sister to stakes-placed Renaissance Lady (herself the dam of G3 Tempted Stakes winner Oxy Lady).
Shares are $3,500 for a 10% interest. She’ll foal in Maryland and be bred back to a KY stallion in 2023.
